The Journal of Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct in all aspects of its publication process. As such, we take a firm stance against plagiarism and consider it a serious breach of academic ethics.

Plagiarism is defined as the act of presenting someone else's work, ideas, or words as one's own, without proper acknowledgement or citation. This includes, but is not limited to, verbatim copying, paraphrasing, or summarizing without proper attribution. We use plagiarism detection tools to identify instances of plagiarism in all submitted manuscripts.

Our journal adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity and quality of the manuscripts we publish. All submissions are carefully evaluated for originality, validity, and significance, and any instances of plagiarism or academic misconduct are thoroughly investigated and addressed.

Authors are expected to comply with the following guidelines to avoid plagiarism:

  • Properly cite all sources used in the manuscript, including references, figures, and tables.
  • Use quotation marks to indicate verbatim copying and provide the original source.
  • Paraphrase and summarize content in their own words, while still providing proper attribution.
  • Avoid self-plagiarism by not submitting work that has been previously published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere.

By submitting a manuscript to our journal, authors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and complied with our plagiarism policy. Any instances of plagiarism or academic misconduct will result in the rejection of the manuscript and may lead to further action, including notification of the author's institution and/or funding agency.

Our journal is published under a CC-BY license, which allows for the free distribution and reuse of published content, provided that the original author and source are properly attributed. We believe that this license promotes the dissemination of knowledge and supports the principles of academic integrity and transparency.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding our plagiarism policy, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence and integrity in all aspects of our publication process.
